Psychotherapy
Living in a busy city can be both exciting and overwhelming even on your best days. Between work, school, the commute, the pressure to always be your best, and taking care of others, you wonder how you can find the time and energy to attend to your own needs and are awestruck by those around you who seem to have it all together. Some of you are also adjusting to working from home and navigating a two-dimensional world. By offering teletherapy, I work with you to make our sessions as convenient as possible while also helping you better manage the changes and stressors in your life (both positive and negative), improve your quality of life and relationships, find purpose and fulfillment, use your time more meaningfully, set healthy boundaries without guilt, and decrease feelings of sadness, stress, burnout, shame, isolation, chaos, numbness, or pain.
My priority is for you to feel understood and empowered through our work together while you move toward your goals at your own pace. Using a person-centered and integrative therapeutic approach, I work with you to identify and explore the roots of your feelings and refocus that inner voice that has been causing you to feel discouraged, while also helping you implement practical coping skills and new habits to improve the way you experience life now.
Through both my teaching and counseling experience, I have successfully helped individuals with attention and learning deficits, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, autoimmune conditions, and chronic pain rediscover their passions and increase their overall satisfaction. I provide a welcoming, compassionate space for adults of all backgrounds, beliefs, sexual orientations, and gender identities to share the things that are difficult to say, find peace, and build the life you want and deserve. The first step is to reach out and I hope you do!
